FROM ONE EXTREME TO THE OTHER

Last weekend I got to do one of my favorite things, run in POURING SNOW.
This weekend I get to run in 75 degree weather and 30 mile an hour winds.
How crazy is the weather nowadays. I know some people who want to fight about the whole issue of Climate Change (Global Warming....such a misunderstood term). I have to believe there is something to this .... not just because my background in science (BS - Biology), but I have been tracking weather, for 10 years, in my running blog.....and I can see a distinct pattern in the weather changes....SO CRAZY. That being said, true or not about climate change, I am going to go out and enjoy the warm temps - before they drop 20 degrees by Wednesday - and curse the wind. I am still very luck, I GET TO RUN.

Very cool. Snow pours? You mean falls? Pours?

I've got an addled brain from the weather. I awoke to howling winds at 3am, only to have them almost to nothing by the time we ran.

Weirdness.

I am a father of two. Married to a wonderful lady, who is a teacher. I myself used to be a teacher, but I am currently employeed as a High School Principal I love my work, I love my family, and I enjoy running to take the edge off. I come from a long line of military men. In fact, it was my life-long dream to be a pilot in the Air Force...but due to circumstances beyond my control (lack of perfect eyesight), that dream was ot able to be realized. So, I stumbled into a new dream....attempting to become a world class educator. I am still a work in progress in the classroom, and on the roads.
